Impact Loading
Impact loading is cumulative stress from running, jumping, and hard landings. It must rise gradually with strength and surface choices—not stay zero forever.
Impact loading is the sum of ground-reaction forces from runs, plyos, and court sports—bone and tendon adapt when ramps are gradual, usually under ten percent weekly mileage increases for many runners. Soft surfaces, cadence tweaks, and calf-hip strength buffer stress.
Zero impact forever weakens tolerance; smart exposure builds resilience.
