Implementation Intention Fidelity Score

Implementation intention fidelity score tracks hits versus cue opportunities over fourteen days—signaling when to rewrite cues or shrink actions.

Implementation intention fidelity score measures how often you executed the exact then-action when the if-cue occurred—not whether you felt motivated. Score equals hits divided by cue opportunities over fourteen days.

Below sixty percent means rewrite cue or shrink action; above eighty percent means ready to add a stack link or tighten the behavior. Distinct from implementation score, which rates plan clarity at setup.

Common questions

  • How is fidelity different from implementation score?

Implementation score rates plan quality at setup—clear cue, action, time. Fidelity scores follow-through after the plan exists. You need both; high clarity with low fidelity means cue repair.
