Post-Lift Yoga Cooldown

Post-lift yoga cooldown is a short gentle pose sequence after strength work—to downshift heart rate and ease hips and spine without extra load.

Post-lift yoga cooldown uses five to twelve minutes of easy poses—supine twist, figure-four, child's pose, legs-up-the-wall—to lower heart rate and lengthen tissues loaded under tension. It follows barbell work, not replaces walking cooldown.

Keep effort submaximal; this is parasympathetic shift, not another workout. Pair with nasal exhale emphasis.
